Normally we use water glass casting process for production of carbon steel cast marine hardware, since its low requirement of dimensional accuracy. Actually water glass casting process must be the proper casting process for carbon steel marine hardware because it is the most economical process compared with silica sol casting process or water glass and silica sol combined casting process.
