Carbon steel casting design

Carbon steel casting can be the commonest precision casting process in Cinda investment casting foundry. Our casting engineers have rich experience in design of carbon steel casting by water glass casting process or water glass and silica sol combined casting process.

Carbon steel casting always has not high surface quality or dimension precision requirement, thus water glass lost wax casting process is much more suitable for it. If customers have special requirement, we can use silica sol and water glass combined casting process to achieve much precision carbon steel castings with fine surface quality.

Stainless steel casting design

Stainless steel casting design can be much interesting. Because stainless steel is more expensive than carbon steels and it excellent chemical and mechanical property, it is always used as critical machinery part or decorative products. Therefore, its design can be much fancier than large lumped carbon steel castings.

Alloy steel casting design

Alloy steel precision casting design is the same as other kinds of steel investment casting processes, except that we have to pay special attention to steel alloying. The casting property of certain steel alloy should be fully understood before we alloy it for casting. For some alloy steel cast products, we can also choose suitable heat treatment to improve its mechanical property.
